About
The Australian Heavy Horse Association Inc. is an Australia-wide registry and community organisation dedicated to heavy horse breeds and part-bred horses. Founded to provide an inclusive home for heavy horses and their owners, the association welcomes participants across all disciplines, including showing, eventing, trail riding, and social activities. The association maintains a registry covering breeds such as Belgian Draft, Clydesdale, Shire, Percheron, Suffolk Punch, Gypsy Cob, Drum Horse, Dales Pony, Fell Pony, Highland Pony, Irish Draught, Morgan, Waler, and Welsh Cobs, along with related crosses. In addition to registration services, the organisation provides over-stamping options for registered purebred horses to participate in the AHHA Performance Awards program.
