Terms of use

These terms apply when you use horse.work. The site is run by Horse Work by Stability Software (“horse.work”, “we”), which is operated by Design Box Digital Pty Ltd (ABN 51 657 551 169) of 711/1 Queens Rd, Melbourne VIC 3004. By using the site you agree to them. horse.work is used by businesses and horse care providers in Australia and New Zealand. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded by agreement, such as the Australian Consumer Law or the consumer laws of the country where you live.

1. Using horse.work

horse.work is a directory to help businesses find horse care providers. Listings, ratings and reviews are information, not a recommendation or guarantee. Do your own checks before hiring anyone. Your agreement with a business is between you and the business.

2. Listings and claiming

• We may list businesses using information they have made public. Providers can claim their listing free of charge.
• To claim, you must be authorised to act for the business and verify using an email on the business's domain, or another method we accept.
• You're responsible for keeping your profile accurate and for anything you publish on it. Don't make claims you can't back up.
• We may edit, decline, unpublish or remove content or listings that are inaccurate, misleading, unlawful or that breach these terms.

2A. Buyer accounts

• Anyone can create a free account with an email address to save providers. We sign you in with one-time email codes or links; keep access to your inbox secure and don't share codes.
• One account per person. You can delete your account at any time in your account settings.
• We may suspend accounts used for spam, scraping or abuse.

3. Reviews

Reviews must follow our review guidelines. By submitting a review you confirm it's your honest experience as a client and give horse.work a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to publish and display it. We moderate reviews but don't verify every statement in them.

4. Featured plans

• Featured is not on sale yet. Before it is, we'll publish its price and billing terms here.
• Cancel anytime in your dashboard. Featured stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't give partial refunds unless the law requires it.
• Featured gives labelled placement. It doesn't guarantee leads, enquiries, rankings or results, and it never affects reviews, ratings or awards.
• If a payment fails, Featured continues for a short grace period, then switches off until payment succeeds.

7. Acceptable use

Don't scrape the site at scale, interfere with its security, submit fake reviews or claims, impersonate anyone, or use horse.work to send spam.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, horse.work isn't liable for losses arising from your dealings with businesses listed on the site, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post the new version here. Questions: contact us. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts there can hear disputes about them. If you use horse.work as a consumer, you also keep the protections of the law where you live that can't be excluded by agreement, and you can bring a claim in your local courts where that law allows it.
