Horse care reminder planner

It's easy to lose track of when the farrier last came or when the next worming is due. Enter your horse's last visit dates and this planner works out when each job is next due, then gives you a calendar file (.ics) to add to Google, Apple or Outlook calendar. The suggested intervals come from Agriculture Victoria's basic horse care guidance, and you can change any of them. Vaccinations are set by you, because your vet decides what your horse needs and how often. The planner is a reminder tool, not a substitute for your vet, dentist or farrier.

  2. Enter the last date for each job.
  3. Accept or change each interval.
  4. Download the .ics file or print the schedule.

How it's worked out

Next due = last date + interval, repeated for 12 months. Defaults: farrier 7 weeks (6–8); dental 12 months, or 6 months if under 5 or grain-fed; worming 8 weeks (6–8), follow the directions on the product label; vaccination has no default.
