About horse.work
Last updated 16 October 2026
horse.work is a directory of the people and businesses horse owners rely on in Australia and New Zealand: farriers, equine vets, horse transport, agistment, equine dentists, physios and chiros, feed stores and saddlers.
Where listings come from
Listings are built from each provider's own website or details they've supplied. Unclaimed listings use what the business publishes on its own site: its name, phone, email and the services it describes. We don't copy text from other directories, social media or paywalled sources. Each profile shows the page we checked and the date we checked it. Descriptions are written by us from those facts.
Businesses can claim their listing for free to correct or add details, or ask us to remove it. If something's wrong, tell us.
Pages we publish
We only publish service, state, region and town pages that have at least one real listing. Empty combinations return “not found” rather than a thin page.
Reviews
Reviews are confirmed by email and checked by a person before they're published. Businesses can't pay to remove or hide a review, and horse.work ratings come only from approved horse.work reviews.
How results are ordered
Featured listings (a paid placement, not available yet) will always be labelled “Featured”. Everything else is ordered by verified horse.work rating, then number of reviews, then whether the listing is claimed. Listings without reviews rotate so no one is permanently buried. You can change the sort order on any page.
How horse.work makes money
Listing and claiming are free. We plan to offer an optional, clearly labelled Featured placement; pricing hasn't been set and nothing is charged today. Paying will never change a business's rating or reviews.
