Split a horse bill between owners

Shared a horse with friends or family? Enter the bill total, whether it includes GST, and each owner's percentage. The splitter shows what each person owes, including their share of the GST, with cents rounded so the parts add up exactly to the bill. Use it for vet, farrier, training, agistment or transport bills. If an invoice is issued to several owners, the ATO says a tax invoice of $1,000 or more must show the identity or ABN of each recipient. Australia only.

Questions

Shares don't add up to 100%?
The tool shows the running total and won't split until it's exactly 100%.
Who pays the extra cent?
Odd cents go to the owners with the largest leftover fraction (then the larger share, then the earlier row), so the split always adds up to the bill exactly. The total and the GST are split separately.
Does each owner need their own invoice?
Not always. For $1,000 or more, a tax invoice to several recipients must show each one's identity or ABN (ATO).
Can I export it?
Use "Copy as text" to paste it into a group chat or email. It runs in your browser.
Is it tax advice?
No.
