Makino Horse Grazing is a family-owned agistment facility situated on a 55-acre farm on Makino Road in Feilding, Manawatu, twenty minutes from Palmerston North. Operating since 2018, the property is managed by resident owners Jess, a qualified agricultural consultant specialising in equine nutrition and welfare, and her husband Adam. Grazing options include herd grazing, private paddocking, grass-free track grazing, laminitis rehabilitation, a foundations young horse package, and complete livery services. Weekly grazing includes hard feed and balanced minerals, with pastures purpose-sown with low-sugar grass species to minimise laminitis and obesity risks. Horses have access to safe forage, full on-site arena facilities, group hacks, road riding, tack storage, float parking, and float hire. Facility hire is also available for clinics and lessons.
