About
Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre is the state venue for equestrian sport in Victoria, found on K Road, Werribee South, inside the Werribee Park precinct. The 34-hectare Crown land site has two big indoor arenas, several outdoor competition arenas, a grass arena for general use, two polo fields and a cross-country course built to international level. For visiting competitors there are 181 permanent stables, 396 day yards and plenty of camping sites, plus administration buildings and modern amenities. A committee drawn from Equestrian Victoria and the Victorian Polo Association manages the centre, which hosts major fixtures including the Melbourne International 3 Day Event.
