About
Leven Equine Veterinary Services is a fully mobile horse vet practice covering Tasmania's North West Coast and nearby districts. Set up in 2018, it is run by an experienced vet who is a member of the ANZ College of Veterinary Scientists in both equine medicine and equine sports medicine and rehabilitation. The practice takes an integrative, holistic approach and brings diagnostics to the property, including digital x-ray, ultrasound and airway endoscopy. Services include general consults, field procedures, laboratory and on-farm testing, dentistry and lameness workups. Treatment and rehab plans are tailored to each horse, from pleasure and performance horses to companion ponies, and the vet works with hoof care providers, bodyworkers and coaches.
