About
Horsewest, based in Cardup, Western Australia, has offered horse and pony clipping since Louise Crosbie started the business in 2005. Clips are done on site or as a mobile service at private properties, equestrian yards and racing stables, for everything from miniature ponies to racehorses, including Cushing's horses that need clipping all year. Louise is used to young and nervous horses, and she holds a licence from the state's Veterinary Surgeons Board allowing her to sedate horses when needed, under the direction of Dr Charlie Stewart. Clip styles include full, hunter, blanket and trace, as well as custom designs and stencils. Tidy-ups of bridle paths, tails, ears, whiskers, socks and feathers can also be booked.
Details come from public sources (horsewest.com/clipping), checked 18 Oct 2026. Please confirm services, hours and fees directly.
