About
Hope Reins is a faith-based organisation located in the Gympie region of Queensland. The organisation rescues horses and other animals needing care, providing them with a safe environment on their farm. Rescued equines receive handling, rehabilitation, and ongoing care, with selected horses made available for adoption or rehoming referrals. Alongside animal welfare, Hope Reins operates tailored programs for young people and adults facing trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, or other life challenges. Participants work one-on-one with leaders and volunteers through programs such as C5, P.A.K., Brave On, and youth mentoring. Sessions incorporate horse handling, care, groundwork, and riding to foster trust, confidence, and living skills. The farm also welcomes community involvement through short-term volunteering, regular volunteer roles, and farm tours.
