About
Forget Me Not Equine Sanctuary is a registered charity based in Karnup, Western Australia, providing dignified retirement and ongoing care for senior horses and ponies. The sanctuary steps in to support elderly equines facing euthanasia due to owner illness or disability, offering a safe permanent haven. Resident horses receive specialised feeding routines with softened feeds to accommodate worn teeth, routine veterinary attention, daily medications for conditions such as Cushings disease, and six monthly dental care by an equine vet. Through its Phoenix Rising Project, the sanctuary assesses rescued equines for adoption while also engaging the broader community in equine welfare and learning therapy by appointment.
