About
Anroc Quarter Horses is an equine stud and training property located in Sassafras, Tasmania. Operating on a sixty-acre farm for more than seven years, the husband and wife team specialises in breeding and training Quarter Horses for reining and western performance disciplines. The stud maintains performance stallions including Cabernet Jac and Ima Gunner, alongside a band of carefully selected broodmares. Young stock and breeding horses are raised in natural Tasmanian pastures with rotational grazing, whole grain supplemental feeding, and regular handling to establish calm communication and correct foundations. In addition to young horses and mares offered through the sale barn, the property provides western training and riding lessons. Facilities at the Sassafras farm include a round pen, arena with night lighting, a tack room, feed shed, and dedicated float parking.
